Ms Regina Tsai, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, Taiwan Branch, said: “Today’s opening reflects the momentum we see across Taiwan’s beauty industry. What was once a single-category, consumer-driven market is now a sophisticated, multi-sector ecosystem, and businesses are embracing the change. This year we welcome the strongest international lineup in the fair’s history, with First Editions bringing 14 debut brands from 11 countries to Taiwan’s buyers for the first time. Combined with SCENT Taipei, the inaugural Scent Taipei Award, and an expanded medical aesthetics programme, we are building the platforms that help buyers, brands, and manufacturers find the right partners efficiently.”
Beautyworld Taipei 2026 will bring together Taiwanese and international suppliers to present fresh beauty innovations and sourcing opportunities. The event is expected to draw distributors, wholesalers, OEM and ODM manufacturers, salon and clinic operators, retail and e-commerce buyers, brand founders, and procurement managers across beauty, wellness, and hospitality. Beyond core beauty, visitors can also connect with global suppliers in personal care, oral care, and spa and wellness manufacturing.
Taiwan’s strengths in skincare, professional beauty manufacturing, and salon-focused nails and lashes will be in the spotlight, with key exhibitors such as Ming Cheng Biotechnology, Giliebay Industry, and Dawson Nail.
International exhibitors and country pavilions including participants from China, Japan, Korea, and Thailand will present trends spanning beauty-wellness concepts, scalp and haircare programmes, clinic and professional skincare systems, packaging, and permanent makeup solutions. Highlighted exhibitors include Haifeng Packaging Co Ltd, Doctor Realize, and Cellandir.
First Editions: a launchpad for international beauty brands
Building on this growing global presence, the fair will debut First Editions, a brand-new curated space dedicated to international beauty players entering the show and the Taiwan market for the first time. Positioned as a premier destination for beauty and wellness, this pavilion will spotlight 11 standout brands from around the world, spanning premium skincare, body care, and fine fragrance. Designed as a launchpad for up-and-coming labels, the pavilion invites visitors to explore diverse beauty traditions and new innovations from an international lineup representing France, Greece, Indonesia, South Africa, Switzerland, Türkiye, the UAE, and the UK.
Highlights from skincare include Instytutum (Switzerland), known for clinical‑grade formulations, alongside Innoxa and Juara from France, Technoskin from Greece, and Geve from South Africa. The fragrance lineup brings together Farmacia (Italy), Puzzle (Türkiye), Told and Max Foucant (the UK), and sisology (Korea). Les Petits Bains (France) adds a premium bath and body dimension to the pavilion.
SCENT Taipei: a collaborative stage of fragrance innovation
Co-organised by UDN.COM and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, Taiwan Branch, with support from the International Scent & Sense Association (ISSA), SCENT Taipei will gather more than 20 exhibitors presenting more than 100 products from fine fragrance and essential oils to scented lifestyle goods and formulation services. Visitors can explore raw material sourcing and perfumer-supplier connections at Code of Scent, discover Taiwan-origin fragrances built on local botanicals in the Formosa Terroir section, sample curated fragrance experiences at the Scent Library, and engage with the Essential Oil × MBTI interactive experience, which pairs essential oil profiles with personality types to bridge sensory education and consumer engagement.
The Scent Taipei Award will also be held, the inaugural award ceremony recognising excellence across three categories: Artistic and Aesthetic Perfume, Lifestyle and Personal Care Fragrance, and Innovation and Sustainable Fragrance. The jury comprises perfumers, fragrance buyers, retail specialists, and sustainability experts, with winners to be announced on 25 March.
Additionally, Lightspeed Rocket, Taiwan’s first publicly listed fragrance brand, is set to display its portfolio under two house brands, Shareco and KLOWER Pandor, covering fragrances, body care, home diffusion, and a new skincare line. Monde, founded by visually impaired perfumer, will present creations that embody personal olfactory narratives. MITH Bangkok, a Thai fragrance house, makes its debut in Taiwan, highlighting Southeast Asian urban scent culture with tropical fruit and woody musk notes. Other exhibitor highlights include Dear Air, Popscent, Taifragrance, WAEBI, YUN SCENT.
Mr Vic Ho, President of the International Scent & Sense Association (ISSA), said: “SCENT Taipei is the platform this country has been waiting for. For the first time, fragrance professionals across Taiwan have a dedicated space to source, collaborate, and showcase their work at an international standard. The inaugural Scent Taipei Award sets a new benchmark, and we see this as just the beginning of Taiwan's story as a fragrance origin market.”
Fringe programme: medical insights, live demos, and scent discovery
Visitors can explore the fair’s fringe programme across two dedicated stages. The Main Stage presents the Medical & Aesthetics Forum, co-organised by UDN.COM and supported by six leading medical societies: the Taiwan Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Taiwanese Menopause Society, the Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Taiwan Micro Invasive Aesthetic Society, the Laser and Photonics Medicine Society of Taiwan, and the Taiwan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. The Let’s Talk Stage and Health Salon host physician-led sessions, live demonstrations, and brand presentations open to both professionals and consumers.
On the industry and innovation side, the programme features sessions on AI‑powered skincare diagnostics, Taiwan’s PIF compliance, and a beauty entrepreneurship forum pairing AI venture builder AI55 with incubator PS+LAB. The 2026 Taiwan International Beauty Technician Showcase Ceremony, co‑hosted by PTIA and CPIA, closes Day 2 with an industry recognition event highlighting cross‑sector collaboration.
